Tabriz Petag

Petag Tabriz rugs come from the Petag Manufactory, also known as the Persian Carpet Company AG, which was founded in 1911 in Tabriz. The manufactory was established to preserve traditional Persian dyeing and knotting techniques while producing high quality carpets. These rugs were hand knotted by skilled artisans using naturally dyed wool, and many designs were inspired by historical carpets found in museums and private collections. Petag Tabriz rugs are valued by collectors and often carry a woven signature or mark that identifies their origin.
