Shirvan
Shirvan rugs are hand-knotted in the Shirvan region of present-day Azerbaijan and come from a long weaving tradition. They are known for geometric designs and strong color combinations, often in red, blue, and beige. Many patterns draw on Islamic art and the surrounding landscape, so styles can vary from village to village.
